How to do more pull-ups? Break your ceilings and rank up

Been doing the same number of pull-ups for months? That plateau is the equivalent of running out of main quests in a game. Your body has adapted and no longer sees the need to build more muscle. To break this ceiling, you have to change the rules of the game and surprise your nervous system.

One of the most effective strategies is Grease the Groove (GTG). This consists of doing many sets throughout the day, but far from failure (50-70% of your maximum). If your max is 10, do sets of 5 every time you pass a bar. By the end of the day, you'll have accumulated a massive volume of XP without burning out, teaching your neurons to recruit muscle fibers more efficiently.

📈 2 Legendary Tricks to improve:

  1. Weighted Sets: Don't wait until you can do 20 to add weight. If you can already do 10 with perfect form, use a backpack with books or a weight belt. By training with weights, bodyweight pull-ups will feel like "God Mode."
  2. Short Rests (EMOM): Try doing a set every minute on the minute. Start with a few reps and try to last 10-20 minutes. This trains your endurance and lets you see your stats skyrocket on the Dashboard.

Don't let your streak die. Track your progress on Reppy and compete with the community to see who rules the pulling ranking. Top 1 is waiting for you!
